Quilt raffle 2024 Experience the joy of giving back while immersing yourself in the world of beautiful music!
Sylvia Wright's heartfelt donation of a stunning quilt to the Stratford Symphony Orchestra presents a unique opportunity for you to support our organization and potentially win a cherished piece of art. Sylvia Wright has most generously donated this beautiful quilt to the Stratford Symphony Orchestra. Her love for sewing began as a child, taught by her mother. Her interest culminated in a Diploma in Art & Design (Fashion) and Millinery. Following her studies she worked for a well-known designer in London UK. In retirement she continues to sew and do other handcrafts. She married and moved to Canada in the mid-80’s and while living in Toronto, she and her husband were avid patrons of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. When they moved to Stratford 16 years ago, they were delighted to discover the town had its very own symphony orchestra and have been keen supporters of this local treasure ever since. She made this quilt with the express purpose of donating it to the SSO so that we could raise funds to continue providing the community with wonderful music.
With donations starting as low as $20, and there are no limits—you can buy as many as you like! You can join us in preserving the magic of live music while also entering a raffle for a one-of-a-kind quilt donated by Sylvia Wright. Embrace the opportunity to be part of something truly extraordinary—donate today and let your generosity resonate through the halls of our community. The winner will be chosen through a lottery, adding an element of excitement to your contribution! |
